This thread is about one of the best multi-player Platform Game Series. This series lived through the very end of the Super NES, and really showed everything that the Super NES was able to.
Right now I'm playing through DKC3 on-line with Papero. I must say that if you are someone that likes watching as much as playing, DKC's enjoyment goes up by a lot in team multi-player, where you can laugh out loud at your partner messing up or share your rage over extremely difficult levels.
I plan on writing a review about each games soon.

I must seriously agree with the last statement.
Every couple of days, my sister comes over and we play Dixie's Double Trouble in the Wii. We're currently about halfway through the Lost World.
We've even made an inside joke from one of the more infamous levels we were playing.
I would jump around erratically, saying "woah, woah, woah" quickly every time. Both of us were really hyper, so we laughed a lot, also explaining why I did it in the first place.
I also died a lot while doing so, costing us numerous lives. :B |

I still have it for SNES. I've never made it that far though. |

I have beaten all three 100%... that was back when my SNES was the newest thing. <.< |

If they wanted to make a Donkey Kong Country 4, they'd have to make Kiddy Kong a little bit older than he used to be, and have him assisted by Tiny Kong, who, like her sister Dixie, can fall slowly by spinning her hair. |

...DKC2...
I've been praising that game ever since I got to the site. In fact, when I left the moderating staff, Francis forced all the mods to play that game in my honor.
It is truly one of the greatest games ever. All three games are in my Top 10 SNES games, and DKC2 is in my Top 5 games ever. And why? Well, let's see...we have challenging platforming, difficult puzzles, challenges for true fans, secrets yet to be uncovered, some of the best music in video game history, revolutionary graphics, and all the humor and 4th wall-achy-breaky goodness Cranky Kong could shove in the game. The Donkey Kong Country trillogy is the best one-two-three knockout series in all of gaming history, and no series shall ever prove me wrong on that (since Super Mario Bros. 1-3 didn't and I won't count the Banjo-Kazooie series since I didn't like Grunty's Revenge at all). |

Donkey Kong Country was a great game! =D Too bad I don't have it anymore since my dad sold the SNES with our games. T-T But I used to play it all the time as a kid. Good times...
My brother had Donkey Kong Country 2 for the GBA. I played some of it, but I really suck. XD So I didn't make it that far. Plus, I got too busy with high school stuff. D= But I can say that DKC2 is my favorite out of all of them. I like Diddy and Dixie. =3 They're kind of cute. And Dixie's hair is awesome. =] |

I HAD them all or GBA, until I lost DKC1, which I later regained for Wii. |
