Maybe it's just me, but the music from Sammer's Kingom and Super Mario Land's Chai Kingdom theme sound very similar, give or take a few splices and mixes:

They are somewhat similar, because they both translate a Japanese theme.

There's only a part I can associate between each others.

Also... holy crap! Sammer Kingdom's theme is so awesome! ... I never took the time to listen to it.

Last I checked, the Chai Kingdom had a CHINESE theme.
