There are alot of great characters from their representing titles... But don't you think they could have added more if they had the time ( and possibly the patients? ) You know a few sites and programs have already stated their opinions and rumours of characters that were "mentioned" to be making their debute in Brawl, yet not added. But I like to hear about opinions stated by ( like myself and many others ) the fans, of course! ( I apologize full force if at the time I wasn't a occurring member that this subject has already been discussed. )

Its quiet easy; just give an idea which characters and why you think they should have corresponded with the Brawl title. You don't technically have to explain why they should have been included, but it'd be a nice touch. I think I'll start and you all can follow up if willing!

King K. Rool. : Even though he hasn't been around as long as the infamous Bowser, many heroes need a villian to push them along the way. King K. Rool would have been a nice addition, the fact that Mario & Donkey Kong have been involved with one another since the early 1980's and onward through many titles and more to come is a nice start. They've added King DeDeDe and even introduced a handful of diffrent bosses ( such as Porky and Ridley ) into the Smash Bros. world for their renowned heroes and heroines. Nintendo's loss of Rare may or may not have been why such characters have not been included, even though they've had the privilege of placing other's that they do not legally own. Hopefully in the future King K. Rool will make his debute!

Zant. : Oh, I know what you're thinking. - I do admit I am very faithful to the elder tiltes of The Legend of Zelda series and alot fans would say they didn't agree with Twilight Princess' plot and play. It still had the many features of Ocarina of Time and the Majora's Mask, just with diffrent character backgrounds and styles. You'd have to admit the graphics weren't THAT bad since the release of The Wind Waker, right? And if you notice Twilight Princess takes place a few centuries after OoT. Getting to the point I think Zant's whacky fighting styles and magic powers would be fun to flaunt around the battle field.

Bowser Jr. : Since his debute in Super Mario Sunshine Bowser Jr. has been added to many more tiltes that his father also takes part in. Though many would think he wouldn't live up to the legacy of wrong doings his father has created for our plumber hero, he's taken a big step forward from his first apperance; to sport games, a minor role in the Mario Party series and the third installment of the 3-D platform series of Super Mario. Lets just hope if he were added, his set moves ( like they've done in Melee ) would not just be a weaker mimic of his father's.

Anyway, there have been 9001 topics like this, but atleast you start it with a wall of text. Oh, and Jr. owns. 'nuff said.

Bowser Jr: Oh, right. My bad.

Paula: Lucas may be popular, but he was never in America. I don't despise Lucas anymore, but advertising a game americans can't have? Yeah, nintendo, ever heard of an emulator? Yeah, now everyone wants to use it. Good job morons, you're missing money you could have made.
Now Paula has most of the moves that Lucas uses. She could be a lightweight with weak smashes, but her PSI related moves are much more powerful. The voice wouldn't be too terrible knowing it's a girl. She has all of Lucas's moves on smash, except PSI Starstorm, which 1. Lucas, AND Ness never learned and 2. Lucas can't say it right. Not epic enough. Paula has PK freeze, PK fire, PSI magnet, and PK thunder, and her final smash could better yet be pray, though I'm not sure how that would work.

King K. Rool isn't owned by Rare. Due to being part of the Donkey Kong series, he is an official character of Nintendo, born and raised. The same goes for all Kremlings and his underlings. The same does not apply to any characters (with the exceptions of Diddy, Tiny, Dixie, and Krunch) in Diddy Kong Racing, nor the Banjo or Conker series.

Now, here are characters, other than K. Rool, which you stated my views on perfectly, that should've been in:

Micaiah: Seriously...she didn't even get a freakin' trophy? Micaiah's game, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, was released in Japan before the decision to put Sonic into the game was made. Therefore, this pure-hearted Light Mage could've easily made an entrance to the series. With Fire Emblem primarily being represented by swordsmen (seriously, only ONE FE character that actually appears as a trophy does not use swords), it would've been nice to have a magical representative. She would've been also easy to work into the Subspace Emmissary...letsee...pure-hearted girl traveling the world...hides often...unique magical powers...remind you of anyone? Plus, with there being very few female characters (the Pokemon's genders being anyone's guess), Micaiah would've made an excellent entry to the series.

Kamek: Second representative for the Yoshi series. Yoshi has been by his lonesome for years now, and I was hoping that another gifted character would enter the fray with the dinosaur. Kamek is the best thing we could get by his own because, c'mon, you really want Baby Mario crying himself back to the stage? Also because he's awesome.

Banjo-Kazooie: Alright, this is REALLY wishful thinking on my part, but please, but BK in the game! They were wonderful characters that had tons to offer with a unique series that I'll always treasure in my heart. Though the Rare split has severed their ties with Nintendo, I hope the bear and bird find their way back to the arms of the plumbers someday.
