I just watched it for the second time, and it was still great. I find nothing far-fetched about aliens, other dimensions, psychic powers, or aliens with psychic powers from another dimension, although humanoid aliens with psychic powers from another dimension? Now that's far-fetched. While the action and special effects are great, the story gets slightly confusing into the second half of the movie. It just doesn't have the touch of the last three movies, for the most part. The first half was nice, and I found Oxford's riddles a great element of the movie, while having the Ark of the Covenant get a cameo was sheer genius. I did notice a few story plots that went nowhere, like Mutt bringing his bike to South America, or why the communists even needed the Roswell alien. Overall, I place it tying with Raiders of the Lost Ark for second place as my favorite Indy movie, with The Last Crusade in first and The Temple of Doom in third. Tell me what you thought about it.

WHY, YOU ****!
*Blasts Barry with laser cannon*
What's the matter? Are you too stupid to believe in life on other planets? Are you not thinking of the unthinkable huge size of our universe, with all those billions of billions of other planets out there?!? Are you considering even bacteria would qualify as aliens?!?!? I THINK NOT!!!

Then again, the aliens were humanoid...

It was lame. You can't have aliens in Indiana Jones! It's just wrong. Might as well just make Indiana Jones: AvP.

You can have aliens to a certain extent, but I admit Spielberg and Lucas did go a little too overboard with the idea. I liked the whole "Aliens taught the Mayans cool stuff" and "The crystal skull is alien" part, but Steve and George should have left it there.

I want an Indiana Jones movie where they find the Fountain of Youth and Indy jumps in it and they use a ton of CGI to make him look like he did in Raiders. And Short Round is an angsty teen who gets in fights with Mutt over "Who's the better sidekick"

This is the best topic ever. No, I'm serious. I am DYING to see it again. I just saw Temple of Doom. I have yet to see Last Crusade, (I'm seeing it tonight) and I've seen Raiders twice. My favorite is Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Not only was it the ultimate piece of fan service, but it was also one of Harrison Ford's finest performances.
As you can see, I have a strange addiction with Indiana Jones, and I even own an official Indiana Jones fedora. So yeah I guess I'm a big fan. Sorry for double posting.

Face it, Every series hits a point where i dies. Kingdom of The Crystal Skull was that point, it didn't have the classic "Indiana Jones" feeling.

Well...I've only seen Raiders, Temple, and Kingdom, so I really can't comment on this statement.

Moved to Media.

I haven't seen this movie yet, but I'm not sure I want to from what I've heard. Not in theatres, at least. My favorite of the films is Last Crusade, btw.
