This is a good start. I think actually looking/imaging how YOUR face is, structure wise, will help you a lot. The style you're trying to use forces you to know a lot about anatomy, and mastering that takes time. ( There are still some thing /I/ need to work on. D: ) |

I would try to move away from the anime style a bit... I used to draw like this and I found myself much more comfy in the cartoon zone. That, or try to draw eyes that don't look like that. |
