So, what are your thoughts on this game? Personally, I think it looks AMAZING. This is another reason I want a PS3 more than a 360.

The customization really has me going. I can't wait for it to be released.

I'd want it but the PS3 is not really something I'd waste my money on.

It's not a waste of money if you plan on using it. Wink

I don't know; I don't see what's so great about it, as it looks like one of those "casual games." I made a post about it on another forum a while ago.

Quote:
I need an explanation, because I haven't been very interested in it. Maybe I have the wrong idea about it or something; so, I'd like to see why it's amazing.

From the little knowledge that I have about the game, it just seems like a giant level-editor. Freedom and creation is fine, but it does grow old after a while, I think, if there isn't any motivation. Like, I can see the appeal in a game like Spore- creating a species and having it evolve over time, to the goal of reaching the "space age"- but I don't understand the appeal in LittleBigPlanet. Why do these sack creatures exist, and why are they solving these challenges and stuff? Maybe I'm completely wrong about not seeing the appeal in it; so, that's why I'm looking for someone to explain the appeal and why it looks revolutionary.

When I first saw it, I thought it was going to be the greatest thing ever.
But now I'm not sure what the actual game is... a co-op platformer in a realistic physics-based world? I just hope there is a little more to it than that because I am afraid it might get boring, even with all the neat editing features.

Ture with th ebore-factor. But I'm the kind of person that doesn't get bored easily, so I think the game would suit me fine and last a good while.

LBP is the only game we got a PS3 for, besides an early copy of UTIII.

Yeah, totally the best $500 spent ever.

The part I like best is that I-Camera thing for the PS3 can be used to take pictures and put them in your level. ANY picture. Shifty *shot*

In seriousness, from what I've seen,it looks pretty fun and would probley get it if I had a PS3.

It's not the only reason I'd get a PS3.

There are a lot of games that I want that are only on the PS3.

Also, Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy are bigger reasons for me to get one. Also, a lot of games that are already out are craved by me.

One of the major reason I bought a PS3. Co-op platformer with the most extensive level builder ever plus fan made levels in the retail version? Count me in.

I know nothing about it, but... Platformer? Co-op? Level editor? If only I had a PS3...
