Really, this place has degenerated so much over the last few months, and it's getting close to /b/ grade. When I get sick of digibutter, you know something's wrong.

Why? Because, when everyone hears the words "Bad mod", they suddenly think of me. Oh, it doesn't matter that I've actually done work over nearly the last year. It matters that I happened to strike someone because he didn't read the rules, and I don't deserve my position.

And I may deserve my position, I may not. Not that it matters at all, since the moment things settle down and we get more mods, I'm resigning. Don't tell me you didn't see this coming, since I've seen more 'Demod Plastic' posts than days the site has existed.

One thing that seriously made me sick was what happened today. During the flood of avatar changes to alts, I decided to change mine, just for a minute. Without even posting, I got a full-blown, lengthy, poorly constructed wall of text that appeared to be an attempt at a flame through MSN, about "How much of a piece of shit mod" I am and "You deserve to be not just demodded, but permabanned". For an avatar change. I was going to do it evantaully, just for fun, and it happened to be on the day a few people felt like hating avatar changes. Why the hell people have to blow something like that so out of proportion, I'll never know.

I've been called a cookie whore countless times, a sell-out, a tyrant, someone who "Uses your mod position for nothing but to get people to suck up to you", and egomaniac, and things I'd get striked for repeating. Mostly by the people who get most of the strikes around here.

So, I'll be happily setting my status to hidden and posting only a few times a day, since the people who are opposed to me greatly outweigh the people who actually accept me. I might go back to normal over time, but I'm staying like this until everything else goes back to normal.

Oh, jeez... I miss you, Old Digibutter. Back when people actually tried to have some semblance of respect for one another, instead of brainless flame everywhere. Because... that's what it is.

I'm just sorry you've been the target of it, Plastic. I really do think you're a decent mod--and the arguments against you are way, WAY blown out-of-proportion. ._.

I'm sticking to my opinion.
If the mods were more strict, I'd give them ten times more respect, nut as of late, I feel that they're very undeserving of their roles and responsibilities.
