Hmm, I feel the need to post this, because I need to get my voice out there. (NOTE: SARCASM IS ITALICIZED)
Lets see what I did today... Oh yeah! I locked a thread that was going to escalate into a quote pyramid. Oh, look a PM, I wonder what for. Oh, it appears someone thinks I was being unfair AGAIN.
Now, thats the annoying part, I try to do good, all the sudden, I'm the bad guy. THEN, we get dozens of posts in those "Our mods are corrupt" threads saying that we need stricter mods. Well, hmm... something isn't quite adding up. Maybe I should just become a nazimod, perhaps that will shut them up. Then while they're muttering that I am being to strict, they will say I need to be more leniant. WELL, WHICH ONE IS IT? LAZYMOD, OR NAZIMOD? People honestly think that we mods are the ones to blame for the site's downhill spiral. Is it US spamming? Is it US flaming? No, we're being good examples. But noo, not good enough. We need to be perfect because a mod on another forum is different and we should all be like him because he's perfect and I should learn to be perfect. Oh yeah, and plastic should totally be demodded because he is such a bad mod, and its not like he dominates the report logs at all. Yeah, we mods have a real easy job. Making people angry at us, being the scapegoats for all of Digi's problems. I know we can't go back to the "Ye Olde Digibutter", but we can at least have reason. Mods are not the problems, its Digibutter as a whole. You guys are just blaming someone of higher power because you think you need to challenge them. We are doing our best, if our best isn't good enough for you, then LEAVE. We don't need your negative attitudes and Drama spreading. Drama is like oil, it gets everywhere, its hard to clean up, and it turns into flames easily.
Oh, in case you're too lazy to actually read heres a brief summary: Cry about it.

You guys think you have it rough? When I was a mod, I was the only one who took the blame, from everyone. I was the only one willing to try new radical ideas. Hell, I'm the one who came up with the idea for a rule list in the first place. You think you all have it tough? You have each other. I had to deal with this shit from day one, when I was the RP mod. By myself. Do you know how hard it is? Hell, I even when we got more mods all you guys did was nag me to death because I made new rules without consulting everyone else. Guess I wasn't supposed to do my job. You have no idea what pressure is, do you know what it was like after I got demodded? To still have that hate, and no power to defend myself. The only reason I'm even accepted here still is because I caved in and became what everyone wanted me to be.
That's pressure you mother *crag*. THAT. IS. PRESSURE. |

First. That is pretty much flame, I'll let it slide this time, but watch it.
Second. I'm not here to start a fight with you. I know you had it rough, I know you did. But people respected you. They saw you as a ruler, I'm sure they never said "OMG REMOVE A STRIKE" or anything to you. You also had less members to deal with and it couldn't have been as spammy as OT, which I belive is a cause of so much drama, because the whole thing is spam, so when us mods strike it, we are seen as targeting the person. When the other mods came in, I'm sure it was a bit... unsettling, but you should have used democracy. Hey thats just from me. Maybe I'm a bad mod, maybe I should just tuck my tail in between my legs and scamper home. I respect the fact that you had to deal with pressure, but I'm not saying my pressure's worse than yours. |
