Overall I thought that Mario was so much better, really I barely have a reason why, and even though Luigi's 20 life-shroom mail from Peach was handy, I still enjoyed Mario.
Maybe it's because I played the game with Mario first so I had more fun with him? I don't know...

well luigi does have better voices than the old games (esspessialy the higher than mario voice's voice)and he does jump higher like normaly, but mario is a standerd classic to choose and he's very still with his moves.
so i pick mario since mario's moves are still and luigi is alot slippier |

Luigi sounds weird when he says "WELCOME NEW GALAXY!". Luigi's controls are slippery, so, I gotta go with Mario. (Plus, flying Mario looks way cooler than flying Luigi.  ) |
