If I could take the Wii U anywhere with me then yeah. But switch's portability wins it for me.

I prefer many of the features of the Wii U over those of the switch (buttons, free online, etc) but in the end the Wii U just felt too much like a placeholder to me. All I can really say is it was like a HD Wii plus a few features and minus a few others. Tbh they’re both on about the same level to me and I’ll have to agree with Kartoon2 here. I prefer the GameCube.

another way I was thinking of boosting activity was figuring out a good time for most posters and hosting regular weekly or monthly group streams (think cytube). I didn't get any feedback on the idea though.
