I think it's crazy that people still use this site years after the game came out. Wow. Anyway, what does everyone think of the new PM game?

I think that it looks promising. Everyone seems to have their own slightly different views on it, but I'm feeling that it's gonna have a sort of TTYD like story with Color Splash like gameplay

I would agree with TheEvilShadoo but I haven't played TTYD. I can't wait for the new game though. I think it looks awesome! Big smiles from me! And yeah, I cant believe this website exists, even so long after SPM came out. I just joined a couple of days ago but it's great! The Origami King may be the best Paper Mario game in over a decade! Obviously, I stand by Super Paper Mario, my favourite game (along with 'Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story' and 'Mario Party 9')!

Another Bowser's inside story fan, who doesn't give the newer Mario party's unnecessary hate? You are worthy of the Mr. L title!

Thank you! Inside Story was great (because of Fawful, even though it took me 9 years to beat it!) and Mario Party 9 was amazing because it was the first time they did mini-stars! So much better than getting coins and buying stars! I love Super Paper Mario too because of the original villains, deep plot, and fun gameplay (except The Overthere, which was boring). My only regret is I played SPM at a very young age, spent years on level 2-3 trying to earn 1,000,000 Rubees manually, and because of those two things, I didn't pick up on all of the memory scenes and I missed the big plot! So disappointed in myself. And I was even dumb enough to SELL that masterpiece after I finished it (by using an online walkthrough!). Lucky for me, I found the game in a Cex in Manchester and bought it back for £10! I'm never selling it again! It's such an amazing game, leaps and bounds ahead of most Mario Games' plot lines.

Let me guess: were those years of not completing Bowser's inside story due to the button mashing required to beat the third sage?

reply to Dimentio21

No. It was years trying to beat Bowser in Dr. Toadley's place, then years trying to defeat the Dark Star. Final battle was easy though, tbh. Normally, once I've completed a M&L game it's really easy to beat again. Cackletta's Soul from Superstar Saga defied me. Still difficult and still hate when she does the spinning arms move... But my Mario got the first move, so I took out the head first, dodge the easy arm attacks, then use max nut. But, no, BiS is probably my favourite M&L game

Bowser in Toadley's had me for a while, but it was the sage that made me quit. 6-7 years later, I had the common sense to look up a button-mashing tutorial

reply to Dimentio21

Oh, right. With the snack basket attack? Yeah, I remember that. For me as well, I hated the stupid Durmite but I loved that carrot eating mini-game with the enzymes. That was fun. Battling Midbus at Fawful Theatre also had some difficulties...

On my latest playthrough of the game I actually skipped getting the shy guy squad as an experiment, and Bowser can't use them as an attack in the Toadley clinic battle. Nice little detail, but it does mean you have to get good with the goombas to get past fawful theatre.

I'd rather take my chances with the Shy Guy Squad. I need them. I only use Shy Guy Squad (until I get Broggy Bonker, which is way more OP). But Bowser's Shy Guy attack at Toadley's Clinic game overed me so many times...
