Dear Francis: This is a horrible and ineffective system. In the event that it does not work or drives away members, will you switch back to the old system?

It isn't a terrible system. It just needs a little more organization.

There is currently about as much organization as one of the chans... and about as much civilization! Web 2.0, here we come!

In all honesty, I agree with bijou. Maybe it's just that I don't fully get the concept, but this seems to unorganized. I would totally prefer the new features and stuff, but just with the format of the old forum.
I'm not saying this can't work, but it just seems really rough around the edges as of now.

Organization will be what I work on this weekend (hopefully, ill be on vacation so I'm not sure how much I can get done).

It's not terribly disorganized. True, it does need some improvement, but it's not terrible. It won't be the end of the world if nothing changes for a week or so, will it people? After all, this place is brand new. All new things start out ruff around the edges.

The trick is not to think of it as a forum, but as something different. Whatever that means.
