YOU GUYS, YOU GUYS, you’re not going to believe this: there are already wolves among us. Right now. They’re called “dogs,” and we bred them into blind subservience over the course of a few generations. Many of them, however, are capable of reducing humans to blubbering piles of incoherent baby babble with a simple wag of the tail or awkward pawing attempt at a handshake. Who, in this equation, is really man, and who is beast? It’s a chilling thou– oh man look at this puppy! Was I talking about something? Oh hm, episode two of Telltale’s Fables series, The Wolf Among Us, won’t be out until sometime early next year. Bummer.

If you haven’t finished Telltale’s wildly acclaimed tragedy’n'conversation sim The Walking Dead but do want to know when season two will be released, I’ll tell you right now. December 17th! That’s when you can buy the season pass and play episode 1, for about 18 quid.
If you have finished it and want to know a plot synopsis too, I’ll tell you below, hopefully safe from the innocent, spoiler-averse eyes of the non-finishers.(more…)
Were you aware that there had been a The Walking Dead All Out Game Jam? 120 teams were, competing in the official event over two weeks, back in September/October. Ten finalists have recently been picked, with the finalist chosen by TWD creator Robert Kirkman on the 5th December. Those finalists have gained some decent loot, not least a full Unity Pro license, and a free Greenlight application. So yes, you can expect to see another ten zombie games vying for your attention on there. Blame memetics.
Amongst those finalists were Beavl, with The Narrow Path, that takes an approach that immediately grabs my attention. Yes, you’re killing zombies. But you’re also killing the humans too. And you’re in a minivan.

Ever since [SAD THING] and [OTHER SAD THING] and [MORE VERY, VERY SAD THINGS] closed out The Walking Dead’s first season, everyone’s been reinforcing their ramshackle post-apocalyptic emotion shelters – bolting on more kleenex boxes and widening gaps so they can claim it’s “just the rain” – in preparation for a second go-’round. And so, finally, here we are. In the wake WOLFAMONGOUS‘ successful launch, Telltale’s seen fit to remove Walking Dead season two from its incubation coffin. Video and details below.

We’ve just returned today from an incredible weekend at Comic-Con, and if there’s one thing we’re sure of after our time in San Diego, it’s that fans of The Walking Dead are the best in the world! On Saturday afternoon, ‘Walking Fans’ lined up for hours to see a special panel we held with Telltale co-founders Dan Connors and Kevin Bruner, PlayStation’s Don Mesa, and The Walking Dead creator himself, Robert Kirkman!
Watch the video of the panel above, and if you haven’t played The Walking Dead Season One yet, there’s just one spoiler-free tidbit you should know. All five episodes of The Walking Dead Season One, including The Walking Dead: 400 Days DLC episode will be coming to PS Vita on August 20th. Even more good news? Fans can also expect to see Season Two of the series hit PS Vita as well later this year! All of the stress and heartbreak of the undead saga will be at your thumbs or your fingertips wherever you are. But did we spill any details on Season Two? Perhaps we did… read on for more!
The next bit of information might be considered a spoiler if you’ve not played Season One, so fair warning to stop now! Still reading? Good! Fans in attendance were lined up during the panel to ask a marathon of questions for the team, managing to get a few more bits out of our storytellers on stage. The biggest question on everyone’s minds, including from a fan cos-playing as a certain eight-year old girl wearing a baseball cap, was the question of whether we’d ever see Clementine again. While details were scarce, our very own Dan Connors himself was able to confirm for the first time that Clementine will definitely be a part of Season Two… but wasn’t able to say much more than that.
Thanks again to all of the fans who showed up in person, and if you weren’t able to make it, check out the video above and let us know what you think in the comments about the upcoming PS Vita release and the premiere of Season Two this fall! Oh! And before I forget, there is one more Banang-flavored piece of juicy goodness to confirm for Trophy hunters out there – even if you’ve already played through Season One on PS3, you can earn an additional set of Trophies for playing the series on PS Vita as well, so get ready to re-live those decisions that range from horrible to horrifying all over again. See you in Savannah, everyone!
Comic-Con has probably created lots of news but, until this morning, the only information that had lodged in my brain was the announcement of some sort of Superman vs Batman film. I haven’t seen Man of Steel because my brain tries to run away from Zack Snyder films, leaving it shuddering and heaving against the back of my skull if one of those films happens to be in front of me. Actually, I quite liked his Dawn of the Dead and didn’t suffer any nosebleeds at all when I saw it. Forget about me being snidey about Snyder though – more news from Comic-Con! This time about The Walking Dead Season Two. If you don’t want any spoilers at all, don’t look below.

It’s opening day at Comic-Con 2013 in San Diego, and we want to give you a glimpse of what we’ll be talking about at PlayStation’s upcoming panel: Behind the Scenes with Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead Game Series.
In our new video, the gang at Telltale Games provide an inside look at the game’s development process, their reaction to its myriad Game of the Year wins, the launch of 400 Days and some tidbits about The Walking Dead on PS Vita — highlighted by the upcoming launch of a dedicated PS Vita bundle.
If you’re attending Comic-Con in San Diego, be sure to drop byroom 23ABC on Saturday, July 20th from 4:00pm to 5:00pm to see an all-star panel with comic series creator Robert Kirkman and the developers from Telltale Games. The panel will walk you through the origins of the game, reveal details on gameplay features exclusive to PS Vita, and include a little sneak peek on what’s to come in the next chapter of The Walking Dead game series. Seating is on a first-come, first served basis, so arrive early — we hope to see you there!
