Anyway, Ron Paul for Republican, Obama for Democrat.
My view too. Too bad no one I know has heard of Ron Paul except my brother. I went to his dorm before and he had put up "Paul for President" posters all over his floor. I feel sorry for his friends.
About Huckabee, I feel that he'll want to start to integrate religion too much into the government, since it seems like the majority of his supporters are conservative Christian. I'm very, very strong about the separation of Church and State, so I really don't want that.
EDIT: Also, Clinton spoke at the sister school to mine. I didn't go, not gonna support her. >:[

True, but Huckabee rarely speaks of Christianity. Only when the questions involve it.
Ron Paul... played off as the mad radical. Here we finally get someone who isn't a wax dummy and who would make a good president, and nobody wants to vote for him. Plus the media coverage of Ron Paul is abysmal.

Ron Paul is Barely conservative, that can be a good or a bad thing, My Prediction for him is he is going to run independent. otherwise I believe he is in the wrong party, he would actually make a stronger democrat.
As Nate ans I said today he is an Ass in Elephant skin.
As For "separation of church and state" It comes down to morality views, He CAN'T Integrate religion into the government, however He can help pass legislation that is supported by his religion
Think of it as more of a special interest group if anything, Obviously The more conservative hot-button issues for Christians, Abortion, Anti stem cell research, ECT. Makes it no different than say The democrats pandering to Environmentalists
That isnt combining chuch and state, that is simply the balance of power.
My favorite is Ron Paul. He ran as a republican because otherwise, he wouldn't even have a chance. Personally, I think he has the country's welfare at heart instead of the power, money, fame, etc. Otherwise, I think Hillary is our most decent choice.
Though from the way that Huckabee is presenting his stance, I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to integrate church and state in the future if he is indeed elected.

That goes against the Constitution, doesn't it? M'aiq is pretty sure that the founding fathers specifically said that Church and State are to remain seperate.

He couldn't, thats what I'm saying
thank you for pointing that out M'aiq, however that whole bit, is never actually mentioned in the constitution, however we cannot endorse an official religion
To repeat, the closest thing he could do is pass Legislation his party, and the Christian church are for. He cannot make ANY Church the "official" church of the united states, because that go's against our entire beliefs system, it would never happen, And (this) is Illegal you know
the Only Technical further integration, of any church would be to simply provide taxbreaks for third order devolution, Essentially encouraging churches to create charity's, for say the poor. Which in fact is just shifting social responsibility from the government To Private organizations.
Simply put any "radical" bills by Either party are normally shot down in congress, having a strongly conservative president wont make the united states as a whole into the Deep South.

That's why he wants to amend the Constitution "according to God's Law".

did he ever say that? If so I'd like to see it.
regardless the amendment process is Far too painful long, And filled with many road bumps, for Any one Religion to cuckold it, Even if he tried ( which I doubt) The system of checks and balances prevents too much change, in such a rapid amount of time... don't sweat it K?
Though he didn't say "amend", he did say "change the Constitution" in the video CD had just posted.
I'm just very liberal myself, and concerning the mindset of Huckabee, I don't want him as President. Besides, most of the world probably considers us hillbillies, and having a "President Huckabee" isn't going to help our case.
