I don't have nearly enough on my plate. Stop acting like you suck, because you don't. I'm fairly certain I'm worse than you. So please, stop acting like you don't deserve anything, because everyone deserves SOMETHING.

Isn't this thread supposed to be about being tired OF all this negativity? Is even a little bit of optimism impossible here? Because all I really want is for everyone to stop complaining about themselves, and focus on the big picture.

We're all people, and we're all selfish. We're imperfect, we're flawed, we do idiotic things. It's just who we are. Optimism is when you accept your flaws and get over it. Life is a waste if all you plan on doing is wreck your own life and complain about it.

If there's something wrong, fix it. Don't wallow in misery. Because that makes other people sad, and that's seems to be the opposite of what you want. Sorry if I sounded harsh or anything, but that's that.
