I am utterly serious here.

So yeah, taking example on D/P.

The first time I played through it, it seemed such a breeze. I made it to the elite four in no long, and I got the National Dex despite me having not caught the legendaries.

So yeah, then I restart my game because I'm bored.

109 hours of play passed, still not beaten the 8th gym. I got so much more thoughtful now that I have to grind and get type-advantaged Pokémon to prepare myself for a gym. Not to mention the random stops I make to breed Pokémon, get special Pokéballs and of course leaving the game and not touch it in a month.

My brother restarted the game and beat it again in a week and a half, even with his gained knowledge.

Yoshi looks up info. on serebii before he plays the game.

I played diamond what, 4 times? Then I tried again, and phaled.

What I do, is exactly what Gary does in the first game. I make a team that can beat as much as I can get it to beat. (Fire, grass, water, ground, flying, dark, I think.)

I know exactly what you mean, because back a few summers ago when I had nothing better to do then play Pokemon Red I beat quite easily but then the second time through it was impossible. =(

I never bothered to play through Red or Blue even on the first time, because I had Yellow and wasn't going to replay the same story 2 more times.

I played and beat Diamond within 24 hours. I breezed through it all. Everything was nearly so easy.

But then... I restarted. I never had any thought of tactical advantage... The first gym was so hard for me. >:

Oh please. In the long run, Chimchar has the most efficiency.

Nyeah heh heh heh! Empoleon's quite awesome sauce! And I've beaten the game on my first try in abou 60 hours. Second time, about the same hours. My Pearl team is: Empoleon, Roserade, Floatzel (gonna replace it with a Milotic), Palkia, Blissey (Gardevoir) and Staraptor. In my Diamond team, I switched Palkia with Dialga and Floatzel with Luxray.

Instead of resetting I buy a new copy. I would never give up my moustache team.
