The other day my friend and I got a random idea for a game, but we have no Game Maker or programming experience whatsoever. If there is anyone here that does, perhaps we could collaborate on it?
Our idea was pretty much a ripoff of the Oregon Trail game with its kinda-textbasedness and simple-strategyishness, except with a pirate boat after treasure instead of a wagon with a family. o.o; Mostly text choices, where you can choose from options (i.e. buying/using/managing supplies, how to get past a difficult area, look up stats about your people, and so on.) With a few images at the top and on the menu buttons just to show you a general idea of what you're doing (and to make it look less boring than if it were completely and totally text based.)
So, if I worked on some spritey type things for it, and we all collaborated on ideas of how to work it, would someone be able to help do the makin's? PM me plox if you would be willing to halp. |

I have game maker, but I'm only good at making shooters. And also, I have a short attention span when it comes to work. |

I DON'T do games for other people. My ideas are MINE, and that's how I make games. If I don't have an idea, I don't make a game. Simple as that. |
