Oh, uh, yeah. I forgot to mention what it is.
If you know what Cave Story is, then you know the gist of it.
If not, then look it up on Wikipedia or something.
Digi Story is a graphics, story, level, and music hack of Cave Story.
Alright, now that that's taken care of, lemme explain just how you can help.
Graphics: I give you a palette, you make stuff based on certain things within a limit of pixels. I don't need much help here, besides big sprites and such, like face icons.
Story: The basic events are pretty much the same as Cave Story, just with different characters, different items, different surroundings and such. I'm not much of a storyteller, so I could use some help in this area.
Level: I have absolutely no idea how to make levels using the level editor I have. If you can figure it out, you're my hero. Ask me for it if you want it.
Music: There's this little program called OrgMaker which is used to make .org files, the type used in Cave Story. It's a lot like Mario Paint, but a ton of instruments and percussion. All you have to do is either:
1. recreate music using it, or
2. make original music.
If I like it, it'll be used. You don't have to worry about getting it into the actual game; I can do that. |
