Just out of curiosity... should I apologize to the forums as a whole for acting like a twat, or should I just deactivate my account for good since everybody hates me now?
The thing is, I have severe clinical depression. I take three different meds, and with them I actually manage to be a normal happy person most of the time. But both of my parents have lost their jobs recently and I don't have any meds anymore, and when I don't have meds I fly completely off the handle. I get mad at people who have been nothing but nice to me, for absolutely no reason at all. I crave attention, and will act out in just about any way to get that attention. And most of all I become suicidal.
So, in case you still haven't figured it out, I went crazy on the forums because I've been off my meds for at least a week.
If I took somewhere between a week to a month of cooldown time until I got my meds back, and sincerely apologized to the forums for acting like a complete and total twat, how many people would actually forgive me? Or have I irreversibly transgressed, and should I now just deactivate myself and not ever come back.

So, if you feel really guilty, just take some time off.

You didn't do much anyway. All you did was make a few flamebait and spam posts. Had you done something like searchlighted gay porn or something then I'd never forgive you, regardless of reason.
The problem with a forum is that it's easy to get everyone pissed off at you and yourself jailed in just a few hours. A small span of time can ruin your entire Digibutter experience permanently, so not being on for a while until you can get your meds again/calm down would probably be a good idea. |
