We've all listened to a good deal of nintendo's musical composition, but have we heard them all. Yeah, most likely...
You see, in certain Ninteno produced games, there is a hidden little snippet of music that is very difficult to find. It is called "Totaka's song."

It's called this because of all these select games, the music producer is a guy named Kazumi Totaka.

Finding these songs are almost the same within each game. Usually one must be at a certain screen and wait for certain amount of time at that screen, then boom, you here that little jingle. Like in the "Game Over" screen in Mario Land 2

The is as old as I am one could say, dating back to 1990 in the game X. It is found when the screen show a scientist making a weird face. and waiting awhile.

It's latest appearance was in Animal Crossing: City Folk where it is whistled by Kapp'n when he is looking away from the mirror and waiting a bit, as well as a song played by KK Slider by requesting KK Song from him.

I put them in spoiler tags so as to let those who wish to find it themselves to do so.
Fun Fact: Totaka shares a birthday with our very own Tyler.

Have you heard of his song, or better yet found it?

To be honest, I find the song sorta creepy.

Yeah, it's kinda scary, but I think it's a really cool easter egg.
It's in Luigi's Mansion too, on the screen that shows the controls, right before your training.
Supposedly he's composed for a few games that the song hasn't been found in yet....so the search continues...

It goes something like this:

Doot, dududoot, dudoot, deet, doot, deet, deet, doot, dededeet, dudoot, doot, deet, doot.

I know, it's not helpful, but If you say the words, it almost sounds like it. XD

There are three games I know of that Totaka worked on, but lack his song, or the song hasn't been located yet. They are Waverace 64, Wario Land on the Virtual Boy, and Wii Sports.

Don't see how you guys find it creepy. It sounds slightly cynical halfway through, but not creepy in the least.

It's creepy when you're thinking "...What the hell is this weird music? This isn't from [game name]." Sort of. Though I don't really find that song creepy, I think it's a nice bit of music that I sometimes find myself humming.
