What differences is there between New Game+ and just the regular game?
Also, you can get to New Game+ faster if you lose to Mid-Boss, right (*then otherwise, you have to complete the game)?

New game+ lets you keep your equipment and non-story characters and allows you to get Pleinar.
And I didn't get it early because losing to Mid-Boss is just plain weak. |

Yeah, plus your character's levels stay the same, so getting back up there is pretty easy. I missed the chance at chapter 1, but you fight Mid-Boss again in chapter 4. That's what I did. It's worth it for Pleinair. ФֻФ |

She's weaker at later stages, though. My Hero, who's about three levels higher than Pleinair, is a ton more powerful. |

Ninjas are just as good as Pleinar. They have awesome speed stats.

Pleinair's actually saved me from Game Overs at least three times, but that's because attacks rarely ever hit her for some reason. Even when they do, she's got plenty of HP to spare.
Since I go on a lot of solo missions with her ('cause she's cool like that), she's at level 19 and the rest of my party (excluding Laharl and Hoggmeiser or however you spell his name) hasn't reached 10 (no one (that I use, anyways) is below 6, though). brb gotta do some grindin'
Also, I'm on Chapter 5 now.

Pleinar never gets hit because she starts at level 1 and has a speed aptitude of 150%. That's a lot, considering that 110% in anything is good.
Also, don't use one character exclusively. Keep a couple good ones near your highest level.
Also, Hoggy's third ability comes in hand in chapter 10 I think it is. |

No, he switches places while doing damage.
Kind of weak, but you can steal the enemies' spots in 11-2. That was the chapter. |
