My friend Elaine is probably one of the biggest Weeaboos in the world. Yesterday, she asked me what my favorite show was, and I said Tim and Eric. She had no idea what that was, but she told me I should watch better shows. Then, she pulled 4 DVD's out of her backpack and gave them to me. They were burned copies, so I had no idea what they were.
Anyway, I go home and put in the first DVD. I'm watching it in the middle of the night in my room, because hey, it could be gay porn or something. So the DVD loads. As soon as I see the Menu, I immediately facepalm. It was... Haruhi. I didn't want to make Elaine mad because she's got pretty nice boobies you know? So I start watching it, much to my dismay. I finish watching this random movie thing as the first episode, then the real thing begins.
To make a long story short, I watched the entire season in one straight shot. After it was over... I found myself with... A pleasant smile on my face. I... Didn't hate it! In fact... I liked it! Alot! Please... I don't want to be a weeaboo... Tell me why American Shows are superior...
tl;dr Version: I got forced into watching Haruhi and liked it alot, even though I didn't want to. Now I am sad. |
