The main purpose of this thread is to keep a compilation of all the major announcements and trailers, but discussion is welcome.
Since E3 technically opens it's doors tomorrow, I figured it would be a good idea to make a sticky for the duration of the event. After all, E3 is likely one of the greatest weeks of the year for a gamer.
Get ready to type your fingers down to little nubs as you discuss what news we get on the latest and greatest games coming to all three consoles, both handhelds, and PCs in the next year.
You are free to discuss E3 '09 in general here. Post trailers, give your thoughts on the announcements, and discuss what company you think is giving the better presentation. If an announcement is made that you feel is thread-worthy, by all means make a thread for it so it can be discussed in-depth with fellow fans.
All I can say is "I know what I'm doing all week." that is to say, downloading every demo and trailer I can on the PS3/360 while watching coverage on TV. I'm gonna need more junkfood...
So before we get into the good stuff, we can take this opportunity to list what we're hoping to see this year.
I'm hoping for the Nintendo to release more stuff that isn't shit but you know that probably wouldn't happen since there coverage at E3 gets worse every year.
All I can say is if Nintendo disappoints us, this year at E3, then let the Third Party save us for Wii and DS. They always have great stuff. You'll see.
I mean that if Nintendo fails, then the only thing saving them are companies like Square-Enix, Ubisoft, Konami, Capcom, and others. Think about it: The titles they make.
If a new Zelda game for the Wii is announced, I'll be satisfied at least a little bit more than I was by Nintendo's E3 last year. I'm not really excited for Spirit Tracks at all.
