@Flare - I saw it. Like I said, i'm limited right now.

Anywho, I need your stage theme. Not song, design.

@Tails Doll - Wii can't play music files. Can you maybe look for it on Youtube?

@Pfargtl - kk

@CBLuigi - That's not half bad.

@Goron Mask - Look through our Robot Master suggestions. Also, we need a title screen theme.

Oh yeah, stage design n' shit.

My stage would be the same PIE Kitchen idea from the last attempt at this concept. I think I know what music I want, too.

As for a miniboss... I have no idea. Maybe a member here could volunteer for the spot or something, I dunno.

the stage name would be 'rog mines, it is a big cave that has enemies called 'rogs (those mini balrogs that were scrapped from cave story) as it's specific stage only enemy. at first the cave looks like a mine but halfway through after the miniboss, you fall into a big, mechanical, generic gemcutting and ore smelting factory that has big smelting pots hanging from the cieling, and sometimes they will tip over and drop the liquid contents on you. the spikes in the cave are stalagmites/stalactites that are hanging around under you when you see the first mechanical moving platform... at the end of the factory there is a dustman-esque crusher area before the boss.
enough info?
awesome

@CBLuigi - Well yeah, i'm trying to get miniboss volunteers in here. The more of us in, the better.

@balrog - It's good enough.

I found this MP3 to MIDI thing from a google search, dunno if this will work though so I'll leave it to you to try it out. If it works there'll be more space to decide on music for the game.

http://www.intelliscore.net/

For Crappy blue's stage I think i would use the theme he posted as his level theme, for fortress boss themes we can go with this.

It may be a bit to upbeat if the bosses aren't hyperactive enough to go with the music so in that case this may work better.

Possible stage theme for Tails Doll

For an intro I was thinking of something simple, maybe something like one of these

My stage design would be would be a big rock covered tube in space to the sun. As you go further you encounter more enemies and the screen will do a blinking of white for 2 seconds due to the brightness.

Uh, Mini boss... I actually don't know. Anyone wanna volunteer?

So far (for the most part) all the music suggestions have been 8-bit already.

I know how to get a lot of NES and GameBoy soundtracks in clear quality, so if we stick to NES and GameBoy music, we won't have to convert any midis.

@sync:when will it be announced who will be a robot master and who won't, unless it's just the first 8 requests
@CBluigi: hopefully they only choose 8 bit songs so that it doesn't take awhile to make them sound right mp3 to midi-wise.

@Goron Mask - I tried one of those programs once. Didn't work for shit. :(

@Flare - That works fine.

@Tails Doll - thnx

@CBLuigi - I really dont think we should limit ourselves like that, but if everyone agrees to it, I guess it's fine with me.

@balrog - Be patient. We just started. It might be a while before I set that clear.

I just prefer it, since I assume you're talking about GXSCC for converting midis to 8-bit, and GXSCC emulates a specific sound chip that the MSX uses, not the NES.

It doesn't have to happen, though.

GXSCC also emulates the YM2612, just click the GXSCC logo when you have it open.

I think I should be a miniboss.

For some reason.

I think it's possible.

You could fly around the room and randomly spit out coins.

I'll gladly join in. As myself, of course. Put me wherever I make sense, as a miniboss or commander.

And you should know well of my fighting style and ways. As long as I make sense.

My song? Perhaps my battle theme from Kirby Super Star/KSSU. Even so, perhaps a remix.
