Could we talk about religion in a respectful and serious manner, without flaming or arguing?
I mean religion as a whole, not just "DO YUO BELIEV IN GAWD Y/N" and a poll... I mean an actual discussion.
We've already attempted to break out into discussion about it, and we might as well make an official topic that is flame-free. |

Buh huh huh. I seriously think that we need a full forum for topics such as this, as well as politics or debates. It would certainly get people in the mood for such discussion. Afterall, we have a section for non-serious topics (Off-topic), and it certainly gets people in the appropriate mood. Most of the sites I've been to have had a serious section, as well as a general section; maybe such a forum could work, and provide some more balance, for this site. |

It shouldn't. People are allowed to have their own opinions on religion be it atheist or other. As long as no arguing comes about I believe the topic would be fine. |

OBJECTION!!
People can love someone who's face they've never seen, and who's voice they've never heard.
At this point, nothing is really an obstacle... not even gender. Get used to it, it's not gonna change unless we have an evil, strictly catholic dictator that kills all people who dare sin against a fake god.

There's an article that I've read, talking about there have been homosexual relations between male sheep/rams. This doesn't explain how homosexuality is not a natural thing, if animals without the same superior thinking as humans have are screwing others of the same sex. |

Well, the flame/arguement-free goal of the topic seems to have been broken. Buh huh huh!
Anyway, here's how I look at religion. My own beliefs/lack of beliefs are classfied, but I'll say this- If what you believe in brings you true happiness, go for it. Atheists, don't be persuaded to believe something. Religious, don't be persuaded to not believe something. |
