What are your opinions on the movie?

Well, I had high hopes for it, and I was a little disappointed, to tell the truth. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a bad movie; however, it lacked the magic that the original game had. Well, that's just my opinion on it.

I thought it was schweet, but the little plot in congruences bugged me.

Like how a certain Turk was still alive...

Those are the things that I disliked most about the movie.

Like him, as well as Rufus. Especially Rufus.

Yeah. They completely altered their personalities... Another thing I didn't like.

Reno FF7: I'm gonna blow up this pillar, and I don't care what happens to the people in the slums!

Reno AC: Save the kids, lolz!

It's funny how Rufus and co. showed little hatred towards Cloud and crew throughout the movie. Once in the beginning, maybe, but not throughout the rest.

I also didn't like some of the character re-designs, such as Barret's. His clothes were... unusual...

Yeah. And I kept thinking "Where's Cait Sith's Moogle-doll?"

I never saw it. I almost saw it, then my friend's PSP ran out of battery power. Big surprise.

Ah yes, the moogle was certainly part of the character's charm.

Cloud: Main Character
Aeris: Main Character
Tifa: Main Character

Everyone else: An extra that appears for 15 seconds max.

Didn't have enough Red, Cid, or Barrett, and didn't need Yuffie at all.

Those three were some of my favorite characters from the game. I was disappointed to see that they barely had a role in the movie.

What she said.

It WAS pretty, but it needed more character. The characters and plot are what made FFVII what it is, and Advent Children was sort of lacking. AC is more fanservice than anything else.
