either way I think we've got everything set up for this to really work. I'm not sure anything could actually improve it. |

I hope to have this ready tonight Right now the pricing looks like this: Opening a shop will cost 50 coins. (you can only have one shop for now) You can sell items from your inventory at no charge. You can create a new item a fee of 5 coins. You can supply an image (uploaded from your computer, must be 32x32 or smaller) The item can be usable to modify HP, MP, and color.. for additional charge. HP is one coin per point. MP is 5 coins per point. Color is 10 coins. Soap is 5 coins. You can not modify an item once you have created it. You can add more quantities of your created item at anytime, each one will cost the same as the original (minus the creation fee). If the item is a "service" then there is no charge to add more quantities. A "service" item does not go into your inventory, the PM is proof that you bought it. User-created items are one-use only (they do not use up MP).
An example: Shroom-Of-Death = 5 coins to create + 100 coins for -100HP effect = 105 coins cost to create. You now have one in stock. To add 4 more to stock would then cost you 100x4 = 400 coins. You would need to sell each of them for 101 coins each to break even. |

So it'll be possible to make pies that leave their very large ammount of artificial food coloring all over the username of whoever it's thrown at? |

I just think I figured out how multi-use items could be handled.
If a person wants to make an item that would be able to be used multiple times, they would need to pay a fee of 25 coins (as opposed to the usual 5 coins). They would also have to use a special section that list things that would be costs for using the item. Each possible cost will have an associated number of coins for it, and the total coins for the costs to use the item would have to equal or exceed the ammount of coins that all the rest of the options chosen for the item would cost. Making an item that is multi use would also double the price for each one that's made.
Let's take a reusable shroom of death for example. As it was described in Francis' post, it would deal 100 HP of damage, and cost 105 coins for the first one, and 100 for each additional one. To make a multi-use shroom of death, we'd have to give it costs that would equal 100 coins. Let's first give its use a cost of 10 MP, which might be worth 5 coins each, bringing it to be worth 50 coins. that would leave another 50 coins of cost to come up with, so let's have it take that last 50 out of HP. You would then be left with a multi-use shroom of death that requires you to give up 10MP and 50 HP with each use and would cost 225 coins to make the first one, and another 200 for each additional one.
Now, I'm sure that having to pay all your MP and 50 HP would discourage people from wanting to use such an item, but some might still want it for its ability to be used for killing and not having to be replaced. |
