You post the picture you want, then you just change the background to white. |

Wait, are you using paint? If so, you have to use the free-editing tool.
GIMP is so much easier to use with that, though. |

Well, not for basic things so as what you want to do. Of course, Paint can do about as much, but it's much harder.
For example, just click on the scissors tool to do what you're currently trying to do. It's like connect the dots, but it connects it FOR you. Meh, just download it and you'll see. |

MsPaint isn't hard to use at all. That's how I made my group pic. |
