Chapter 7: The Epic finale of epicness part one
In the evil place...
Crump: Buh huh huh huh, sir Grodus, I have a message for you.
Grodus: Hmm? Get on with it.
Crump: It seems Mario and his friends gathered all the objects... Sooner than expected.
Grodus: No matter. There's only four of them.
Crump: There's also a chameleon, an odd human, and a ? Block...
Grodus: HA! This will be easier than I thought! GACK ACK ACK!
With our heroes...
Luigi:... And I say you CAN live a day without your hat!
Author: *ahem*
Mario: Woops. Heh heh.
Author: Perform the ritual.
Bob performs the ritual with the Medallion, the sock, and the box.
The hereoes suddenly feel a great evil around them.
Bob: We're here.
Mario: Didn't you used to be a lemon?
Bob: We don't have to go into that now.
The heroes proceed into a large room.
???: Fufufufu... So, you thought you'd get to master Grodus didn't you?
Francis: AUGH! A GHOST! HIDE ME!
Bob: Don't be a baby. REVEAL THY SELF, GHOST!
Ghost: I am the Essence of Evil... I have no name, no form. I exist as long as there is evil, so I exist forever... You must defeat me to pass... Fu fu fu...
Bowser: You like to use 3 periods a lot, don't you?
Ghost: Hmm? That's odd... I sense evil coming from the large koopa...
Bowser: I AM THE GREAT LORD BOWSER! FEAR ME!
Ghost: Um, no... And I sense a small trace of evil on the pink dressed one...
Peach: *gasp*
Mario: That's from the battle with the Shadow Queen back in TTYD.
Ghost: And the one in green... He has had evil too...
Luigi: But that's passed!
Ghost: The only humans I can sense no evil from are the red one and the swordsman... So they shall fight me, and only them! HAVE AT YE!
A fight insues. Bob draws his blade, and watches the essence. Or rather, Mario screaming as he tries to pummel the essence, witch teleports away. When Mario does connect, it goes right through. Just then...
Bob: WAIT! It becomes solid right before it teleports! Mario, keep trying to hit it!
Mario does as he is told, and then Bob slashes with his sword. The essence crumbles.
Ghost: No...
Mario: Yes!
The heroes continue.
???: Welcome. I see you beat my twin. I am the mind of evil, and am undefeated anywhere!
Bob: Oh yeah? How about a battle of wits then?
Mind: Have you psychic powers, as you read me! Now, let's get on with it. The rules are that you may not get an answer wrong, or else you lose. Now, let's begin.
A barrage of questions is fired, and they are all correct. Until...
Mind: Very good. Now, a plane crashes on the exact border of Mexico and Texas. Where do you bury the survivors?
Bob: In their homelands.
Mind: WRONG! YOU DON'T BURY SURVIVORS! But I am merciful. I will let the Koopa try.
We're doomed, thought Bob.
Mind: Now, what is the first enemy ever?
Bowser: Goomba.
Mind: Very good.
Bob: Wait, I know this style he's only going to ask Super Mario enemy related question. You might as well give up Mind, you can't win.
Mind: I see that. You may continue, but you shall never defeat the body of evil...
The heroes proceed into the main chamber and...
CLIFF HANGER! PART TWO EVENTUALLY! I'M SO EVIL!
Essence and Mind: HEY!
