Here's some reasons to not care about the global warming:

You'll be dead long before you see great damage.
It'll trigger a new ice age and force humans to move to another planet/space colony.(woot scifi becomes real XD) (If you don't know why, watch The Day After Tomorrow. The theories are real, though they are just theories, but they are the most common ones)
Even if all the ice on the planet becomes water, it'll only affect lower places, if you live on the mountains, you'll be fine(I do XD).
Beach will be closer to you(if you live away from it.
We'll have cool cities to explore DIVING.

Now some reasons to care:

Rise on the temperature(most of the people hate heat. I do).
Loss of well known cities like New York and Venice.
Loss of land space(this means more people per square mile).
Humanity may not have the means to go through the ice age when it comes.
There may be technology to make you pratically immortal/live way longer sometime before you die and it will make you be alive while the planet and you suffer the consequences.

I myself don't care about it. I'm not a 'pig' and don't do many things to harm the planet. I just live as I lived before ever hearing about global warming. It's not like I can make a difference anyway.

I was thinking we get all of the robots gathered in a single spot, have them point their exhaust vents staright upward, and have them vent like there's no tommorrow so that the resulting venting will jet propel the earth farther from the sun. And if it makes the year a week longer, we'll call that week "Robot Party Week"!

I'm doing my part. I actually put up posters around the neighborhood and my school. I will also be putting some around other popular spots like malls and cinemas.

I check around every once in a while, and if they start to rip and stuff< I recycle them and put up new ones.

I'm serious about this. I am really doing this.

Yellowstone national park.

Actually, it IS.
There's a volcano there that can errupt in a 1000 year window from now(heard this in Discovery Channel).
It's erruptions from before have been huge, and covered the entire planet with smoke for decades.

I ride my bike instead of riding in cars, and always try to use earth friendly products. I live 12 feet under sea level, so this REALLY affects me.

It depends on how high is the surrounding area around where you live.
If you think about it, you'd already be living underwater it the area around wasn't high Razz

The whole city is under sea level. It uses man made structures to keep out the water.

Well, you're already screwed in case of an earthquake/tornado/tsunami anyway Razz
BTW, what is the city?(not trying to know where you live, really, I just like structures like that and landscapes[I went 4 times on sightseeing trips* ^^]. My favourite one is that of Venice, the huge metal plates that block the sea.)*2 archeological sites, one cavernous region and a rocky place where you can see various eras on the stones.(see, I won't stalk you XD)

It's impossible to push Earth away from the Sun Razz
Also, did you know that the planets all go towards their galaxies' center(in our case the Sun) untill they collide? Yup, one day the Earth will be molten by the Sun. But that is trillions of years away.
