I will be periodically posting up ink blots for you to take a look at, and maybe get you thinking.

What do YOU see in that inky mess?

A PIG AS WELL INCLUDING AN OLD, BAGGY, SAGGY HAG!

Personally, I see two witches with pointed hats facing each other, holding a cat between them.

Buh huh huh. I see the shadow of two tail-less cats holding on to a torch dangling a bit high above the ground, and I see a WoW imp.

This is what I see..
In the 1920s, psychiatrist Hermann Rorschach developed a set of complex inkblots which patients were instructed to look at one card at a time and report "everything the inkblot resembles". The examiner reviewed each response, asked for clarification and determined what features of the blot prompted a particular response.

Unfortunately, these projective tests have limited reliability and validity because examiners must base their interpretations on impressionistic evidence as well as on their sense of the patient's general reaction to the situation (e.g., defensive, open, etc.). In today's business world, employee evaluations contain levels of subjectivity that often rival that found in the historic "ink blot" test.

Proper employee evaluation requires more training and insight than any other personnel process. Yet typical evaluations of performance are conducted without the luxury of training and often with the handicap of annual delays between specific actions and meaningful feedback.

The Raffetto Group addresses these issues through extensive on-site training and by using its own system of specific questions that employees answer in cooperation with their supervisors. We are certified to provide our system online using Teammax®360 . We are also certified facilitators for the Development Needs Inventory (DNI) system, an online, fourteen-factor approach to employee feedback and development. Both systems encourage accurate and detailed communication and also proper quantification and judgment procedures. The effort is well worth it because, time and again, the sum of clear feedback is greater than the sum of automatic bonus checks.

First: Dunno why, but this is what came to my mind.

Second: A butterfly with shoes.
