Well… it sure has been awhile. As someone who is a large enjoyer of the series, Ive been wondering one question. Why are the modern titles not as good in the fanbase’s opinions? A main complaint i see is “lack of fully unique characters with most characters being sprite edits of pre-existing creatures” which I fully agree with, but I find other arguments to be only pointed at sticker star. Such as “no unique locations”
Im mainly referring to pre Origami King right now, although color splash had remedied this on the Wii U. Battle System is another issue i see, which I agree with somewhat, but i personally think the battle system should continue to evolve rather than go back to PM64/TTYD for i feel that I cannot be expanded onfurther without getting stale or repetitive
