What are some of yalls favorite tracks from the SPM OST?
I just ecently regained my appreciation for this wonderful soundtrack. SO many memorable tracks that helped shape my music taste when I was younger. Love the weird composition and almost absurd amount of instruments used. Not to mention the surreal electronic soundscape. So many different synths, samples and weird sound effects/percussion in the background. I love it.

Yes! Bounding through time and proof of existence have always been favorites! I also love the floro sapien cavern theme! I even learned it on piano. I used to listen to a toned down version of that one too on YouTube to not overlisten to the original. Its a huge shame there aren’t more fan renditions/covers of the soundtrack out there.
That’s awesome that you learned the floro sapien cavern theme on piano. Agreed on there not being enough fan covers out there. I quite like the SPM Modernized Remixes by nilyoshi on YouTube. He actually just released one for Gloam Valley only nine days ago.
Wait thats such a cool concept, I saw one or two of those when they first uploaded them. I loved what they did with the music for the ttyd remake. Only makes me hope even harder for a SPM remake.

Thanks! Flipside is VERY repeatable, likely because it’s the hub world music, and thus you listen to it more than any other track in the game!
Yeah the melody is super catchy, and it really gets in your head from how much you listen to it. I also especially love all the complex layered instrumentation and subtle details in the background (that actually goes for most of the soundtrack) when you put on some headphones and really listen to the songs you notice a lot of overlapping melodies and details, its really cool
