Gentoo Forums moves to Discourse to “supercharge their forums with AI.”
This was, in fact, an April Fools post, but what’s actually more surprising is that Gentoo finally moved their forums to phpBB3!
That is to say, until a couple of days ago, the Gentoo Forums were still running the same underlying forum software as Nerr 1.0 (albeit with their own modifications). Is php2.x finally dead? Anyone know of any other large forums still running it?
