This feels like a Nerr 1.0 post. Cave Story turns 20 this year. 
Still one of my favorites. I remember back in high school, I knew someone made a web assembly port of it, and it got really popular for a while. That was a lot of fun.
Have you beaten hell yet? Ballos is such a bitch.

Maybe I’ll give it another try. Steam says I only played it for 43 minutes in 2011 
I even got the physical Switch version way back when but never opened it (and probably won’t since it’s apparently become hard to find).
