Hi everyone! I’m Cedric, but online I go by the name Juno. I’m a 16 year old guy from Germany who really really likes Super Paper Mario.
Ever since I was a child I’ve played many Nintendo games from different franchises. The Mario and Donkey Kong franchises in particular have had a special place in my heart since… forever basically. I’m quite shy and I have social anxiety, but I’m hoping to get more comfortable opening up and expressing myself here!
I’m an artist and I enjoy lots of mediums of art, such as video games, drawings, music etc. I love video games less for their gameplay, and more for their design, creativity and themes. This is why Super Paper Mario holds such a special place in my heart. The Dotwood Tree, the Whoa Zone, and especially the Floro Caverns all fascinate me and inspire me to imagine stories about them.
I also have a bunch of interests beyond Super Mario and DK. These include:
Banjo-Kazooie
Conker
The Legend of Zelda
Pokémon
Smash Bros.
Undertale / Deltarune
Omori
Bayonetta
Danganronpa
Five Nights at Freddy’s
Mii games
… and many more. This is excluding any shows and other forms of media I enjoy!
Last thing I wanted to mention is that I’ve known about this website for a few years now, but I never really had the courage to introduce myself or had the motivation to stick to an online forum. I’m an admin on the Mario Wiki Fandom and in charge of the Donkey Kong Wiki Fandom, and I rarely visit those places anymore, so checking out new places didn’t seem appealing to me for a good while.
However, curiosity got the best of me and now I’m here, writing this message. This post probably contains way too much information about me which nobody really is interested in but if you read my post this far, thank you so so so much! I’m looking forward to meeting you people! Ciao
P.S.: Here’s a recreation of one of the fruit trees from Chapter 7-3. (I made this a few years ago!)
Meets & Greets! Welcome to digibutter! Nice to meet you. I think you’ll fit right in here. I think digibutter is a great place to open up and feel free to talk about what we care about from one nerr to another.
Apologies for keeping this brief. I’m quite busy going into this coming weekend but wanted to say hi. I go by Shadoo, and I’m the semi-unofficial President of digibutter, serving under (Reference: Message #3187 by Francis – #General Chat). I’m sure you can find more about me if you poke around, and maybe you’ve even read my posts before as a lurker (feels a tiny bit odd to think about).
This really resonates with me too. Probably what sent me down the rabbit hole of visual novels lol.
I’m curious why you left Mario Wiki and Donkey Kong Wiki. I’ve never heard much about what goes on over there. I guess they’re kind of our rivals. We really don’t do any advertising here anymore because we’re happy enough as a small community and don’t want to deal with spam.
P.S. That’s a good recreation! I thought that was from the game at first glance lol. Looking back, I can tell a bit by the fruit and the color of the leaves, but still, nice job.
Thanks for the thoughtful reply! It’s really nice to meet you :]
Being the semi-unofficial president of this place must be pretty cool. Your profile picture is really pretty btw! I wanted to draw my own too but whenever I try to save my changes it says “An error occurred: Sorry, we can’t find any avatar associated with that email address. Can you try uploading it again?”
Haven’t played many visual novels but that’s really cool!
I guess I never decided to leave, I just stopped being active and forgot about them. I do check on them occasionally, but… I don’t see much reason to continue editing when the big Super Mario Wiki covers everything and more than those two Fandom Wikis in a much more meaningful way. I guess the Fandom Wikis still have their own charm though. There’s cool people there too.
Thank you!! Maybe I should try doing something like this for scenes from Chapter 5. It’s my favorite chapter. I love the prehistoric theme and aesthetic, from the fields to the caves… it’s just so cool!
Ayo, I’m Mr. L Productions. I started YouTubing when I was your age by playing Super Paper Mario (my favourite game). Though now I’m currently playing the entire Five Nights At Freddy’s series.
This is just awsomesauce! I mean, we’re practically the pinnacle of small but tight-knit communities. Expect to see most activity from about 10-20 people: you’ll get to know them a lot!
For starters, I assume you’ve seen Tiptron? It’s got good advice, so make sure to complete its tutorial. After that… run wild! Get accustomed with the interface, check out the badge menu (A great way to keep engaging with the community!), and read some topics! The longest topic right now is Hobbyposting: there, you’ll learn about the IRL interests of various nerrs. Maybe even self-promote a bit- there’s no such thing as raising too much attention here!
Well, as for me…well, you don’t really get to see much sunlight as the lone Squiglet on Floor 97 of the Pit: hooking up with Francis was kinda my only option.
But seriously, there’s so much to do here for such a small community! I’m just glad that more people are finding out about the absolutely hi-technicaaaal digibutter.nerr. Seems like a gag at first: ‘Oh, the website in the 2d paper mario game is real, that’s cool,’ but when you look under the surface, this is really just a bunch of people sitting at the tea table enjoying light banter over SPM: at least that’s how I imagine it
You’ve probably heard too much from us already: the world is your Blooper now!
Nice to meet ya, it seems that digibutter is getting a few new members nowadays, and Banjo-Kazooie is a pretty sweet game, I hope they do something with him soon besides porting Tooie to the switch
