I’m fairly certain some of you have seen me hovering around the General chat channel, so here’s a proper introduction from myself.
I’m Alyssa, an Irish transgender girl who likes to make random retro-style games. If you’re interested in what I’m working on right now I’m currently working on a NES-styled remake of Super Paper Mario and an original platformer game called Crystal Heartburn (in fact the character in my pfp is literally one of the main protagonists of Crystal Heartburn who is based around me), as well as some smaller side projects like a NES-styled Touhou fangame, a retro visual novel akin to Danganronpa and a few fighting games.
Right now I’m pretty much addicted to early 2000s message boards, and this one just so happens to be the one I’m hoping to stick with (in fact I’m absolutely obsessed with Super Paper Mario, it’s my favorite Mario game in general after both Super Mario Galaxy games and Super Mario Maker 2).
So uh yeah, that’s pretty much all about me, other than some less significant details like me being hyperfixated on crystal healing and making remixes of Touhou songs.
