New Web Button, Check It Out

What do you think? I’m quite happy with how it turned out.

I’ve got a question though that maybe one of you nerrs will have some insight on. A proper web button is 88x31px, but I made this at a higher resolution. On my homepage, I can just scale it on the page and call it a day, but say I want to share this with someone or join a webring that explicitly wants an 88x31, are there any good ways of downscaling this? I’ve tried using both cubic and NoHalo interpolation in GIMP, but the result ends up being a little blurrier than I’d like. Any suggestions?

On second thought, the second smaller button isn’t that bad. The biggest thing is that it’s kinda hard to make out my shadoovatar if you aren’t already familiar with it. Probably not that big of a deal.

If you still have the original pieces id remove the text and avatar to shrink just the background the relayer new text and avatar on top so they stay crisp & better proportions

Thanks for the advice. I’ll try this out when I get a chance.

I also have on my website a Diginet Army web button that I must have found on either on old digibutter or the wiki. Maybe I should try my hand at making one for digibutter proper. As far as I’ve heard, Diginet Army was a splinter group that happened presumably because of not liking the interface change to NERR 2.0. Is that true? Also, what was the whole deal with the navy and the air force, if you know? I believe one of them, maybe the former, was a Steam group.
