Great game. Maybe it drug on a bit too long. And I ended up checking (hoarding) all my items because I didn’t realize the game was easy enough to not really matter 
. I’m glad I finished this before TTYD because they seem so similar.

Joining the just beat PM64 club. Agree with all the points you bring up. I was surprised that you don’t even have to pay at the Toad Houses.

I like how the selected partner is the one in the various cut scenes, adding a little bit of personalization to the story. (I think Watt ended up being the most useful, but Goombario was pretty cool. But I wanted Kooper to be my true partner)
