Check out what I just discovered: Super Duper Paper Mario is a mod for SPM that adds turn-based battles to the game. So far, I think it covers the first two chapters. It’s really neat to see stuff like this still being made for the game. While I’m of the opinion that I actually prefer the games platforming combat rather than having turn-based battles, which I think would slow down the game’s pacing too much, this is still a pretty neat mod that I’d like to check out.

In addition, I also discovered Flipside Mod Manager which allows you to install some mods for SPM like this one.
SPM actually has a pretty significant community on Discord, and it’s a shame that hardly any of them know about our site or have any interest in using it, but then again, a mass-influx of Discord-types wouldn’t exactly be a pretty sight…
