This is a continuation of my “1000%” grind thread from NERR 3.0 here (RIP 3.0 links). ITT, I attempt to gradually max out every counter in the game for reasons including but not limited to: lack of better judgement, clout on teh interwebz, and peer pressure. Stay tuned!

For reference here, one power plus costs 2,500 Flipside Tokens, or 7,500 coins, so four power pluses cost 10,000 Flipside Tokens, or 30,000 coins. The most annoying part is running back and forth between the card shop and the arcade in order to sell cards and buy tokens, especially only being able to buy up to 50 tokens at a time.
I left my Wii on overnight running SPM via USB loader in order to work on maxing out the time played counter, and now I have Uncanny Paper Mario because now the USB hard drive is struggling to load the music and level files. Time for a reset.

Phew. It feels nice to hit 90. Only 2.25 more runs to max out attack. I’d provide more pictures, but pictures of CRTs are none too flattering.

I took some timing averages to share with you nerrs just how painful this is and earn some pity points:
- Average gathering phase: 2:15:00.
- Average catching lap: 10:28.
- Average buying lap: 2:07.
- Average selling phase: 1:20:00.
- This particular run took 3:38:50 in total.

On another note, looking back at #1, that forum post, for the first time in forever, I completely forgot that I could be saving quite a lot of time by remembering to always keep my coinage ending in 99. Thankfully, I’ve just noticed this now without getting too deep in
More miscellaneous notes:
Once I hit 99 attack, before starting to grind to 999 HP (from 280 (though 265 as of typing)), I’m going to max out score via here and ensure I’ve collected all treasure chests via here. I’m confident I’ve gotten ~90% of these, but I would be neat to see if I’ve missed any. Lastly, I’ve really barely ever messed around with the various glitches in SPM, but I’ll probably mess around with some of these too.

Opened all 111 treasure chests in SPM.
I went back through this list to verify. It turns out I was missing these four:
- 2-4 Swooper Card
- 2-4 Schlurp Card
- 3-1 Piranha Plant Card
- 3-1 Thunder Rage
The two at the end of 2-4 I never got on this save file, though I have in others, and the two in 3-1 I just missed likely due to their proximity to the evil back cursya.
SPM is one of the hardest Wii games for me to 100%

Wow. Attack is over and done with. That feels good. Onto the next challenge.
This run took 3:02:13, considerably shorter with some optimization. 1:36:51 gathering phase and 1:25:22 selling phase. Hopefully time can come down even more. Once I start going for max HP, I’m probably going to try continuing with one run each morning. 36 runs in total…
