- business day attendees will be able to register at the Tokyo Game Show official site starting in early August
- general business admission for both business days is ¥5,000
- sub-events include the TGS Forum 2012, complete with keynotes, the Asia Game Business Summit, the Cyber Games Asia e-Sports tournament, a cosplay event, a TGS tour for international and domestic visitors, and official goods sales
- CESA will open up a space outside the main event space for cosplayers
