The next version a America's Army will arrive this year, the US Army announced on it be Facebook page. The developer be taking beta tester applicants for the next Army game, which it be official seas crew be given a head start on two weeks ago.

America's Army first launched in July 2002 as a free PC first-person shooter 'n Army recruitment tool. The most recent update t' the series, America's Army 3, came out in June 2009.

AA3.3.1 Hotfix Changelist

- Invulnerable AI be fixed.
- Tweaked Auto-balance so that Steam mateys be properly grouped together when possible 'n players be far less likely t' be switched back 'n forth frequently.
- Potential fix for 14 players on a team after auto-balance fixes. Will prevent spectator from becoming 14th player on a team if both teams be full.

- Fix for pure COOP games not properly setting the empty team slot values so the select team didn't work correctly.
- Server Admins: Fixes t' server title bar t' show server coop/pvp coop/mp mode 'n server title t' make managing multiple servers easier.
- Fix t' allow pure coop by setting pvp coop cutoff t' match the maxplayer.
- Server crash fix for AI state timers.
- Adjusts PB client list so it won't add player who's PBGUID generate fails for any reason.
- PunkBuster Crash Research - this addresses a number a array issues where too long or too short arrays could cause crashes relating t' pb_export.

Listen up Soldiers, we have new information from HQ!
With the release a Americas Army 3.2, yer soldier now has another tool in their arsenal. The development team has added the M106 smoke grenade into the game, providing players with a great new way t' conceal their movements.
The release notes below highlight the use a the new tactical device, as well as all a the new features, gameplay tweaks, weapon fixes 'n more.
New Features
● A new inventory bottle a rum! The M106 Fast Obscurant Grenade (FOG) will instantly create a cloud a smoke t' cover yer actions. Essentially, it works like the M83 with one important exception: a short fuse. If ye try t' cook the M106, it will likely blow up in yer hand 'n cause an injury. A new Up in Smoke achievement has been added when a teammate be revived within the cover a an M106 smoke cloud.
● A new AA3 Loader application be provided with this release t' enhance the front end a AA3. This application will start automatically when launching the game. This tool provides the ability t' create or delete soldiers, view yer soldiers Personnel Jacket, view combined player stats, 'n launch a game server. It also offers updated news, game manual access, 'n links t' the Americas Army website.
● Improved ladder functionality: t' mount a ladder, face ladder 'n press the use key (spacebar by default). When approaching a ladder from the top, the player will automatically turn 'n mount the ladder upon hitting the spacebar. This eliminates players from needing t' walk backwards t' attempt t' go down a ladder, missing it, 'n falling, causing leg damage. As an added benefit, a player may choose t' release from the ladder by hitting the spacebar again, thus giving the player more options with dealing with enemies while using ladders.
Gameplay Changes
● Change t' After Action Review (AAR) panel t' better convey the players combat effectiveness during the previous round.
● Added display a achievements for all players on the server so they be shown in the AAR.
● Interrupting a reload (after seating magazine) now results in a chance a malfunction.
● Updates t' Spacebar Context system t' correct several edge cases. This only affects selection when player be within multiple volumes (Vault/Mantle, Ladder climb, healing a teammate, ES2, etc.).
● Better fix for players that be blocked while climbing ladders continuing t' climb through other players, objects, the floor, or into the air on remote clients.

● Improved VIP extraction ending - new sounds 'n proper stopping a countdown 'n audio when team be killed while extraction be active.

● Implemented the new AG Award when graduating BCT.
● Zip-tie roll over animation be now played when players be secured.
● Fix for 'ladder snake' bug where player be seen sliding up the ladder after grabbing onto the ladder while sprinting.
UI Change
● Fixed the scoreboard t' highlight the player's name in yellow.
Bug Fixes
● A memory usage optimization pass be done t' reduce our game client memory footprint.
● Another network performance pass t' reduce bandwidth on glass heavy maps.
● Fixed Mr Zip Cuff 'n Tag 'n Bag localization t' reflect actual 50 enemy secured/confirmed in order t' earn (rules be correct already).
● Several hundred minor map related issues (on all maps) be addressed by our LDs.
● Updates t' Leaderboard functionality t' increase number a entries, fix t' allow full use a character font for names, viewing full Leaderboard no longer overwrites the mini-board values, 'n adjust UI size t' allow longer descriptions in mini-board.
● Cleanup a a variety a server-side log spam.
● Removed some client side log spam related t' authentication.
● Cleaned up some inventory logging.
● M320 no longer miscounts rounds fired or rounds hit.
● Fixed a TS3 thread hang/deadlock that randomly occurred.
● Fix for ragdolled enemies not being confirmable. This cuts out the distance check involved for confirming a dead enemy since the ragdolled pawn can travel a considerable distance client side in some situations....such as falling down stairs.
● Fix for mission type not updating on the team select menu.
Map Fixes/Changes
● Alley: Fixed an issue where a few objects be sticking into the wall. Fixed an issue where certain trash bins be not accepting decals.
● Alley: Fixes involving an ES2 gray bin object labeled as a laptop.
● Alley - Discovered that there be a wall in buckets that had been duplicated on top a itself.
● Alley: fixed "hole in world" bug along with a few clipping meshes.

● Shantytown: Fix issue t' keep players from getting stuck near the docks, 'n fixed an issue where a player can pillage stuck under a building.
● Shantytown Camera view clipping through wall, floating table, floating grass, adjusted blocking volumes on TV set, corrected Comm volumes on North side a Central building, 'n many other clipping issues.
● All maps: Several ES2 object issues fixed.
● All maps: Adjusted ladder positions t' make them all consistent with how the new ladder system be supposed t' work.
● All maps: Variety a Physical materials on object modified/updated.
● Training: Fixed issue where carriable objective be invisible in training levels.
● CONEX-MOUT: Updated the shoot-house walls t' be bulletproof. This best keep players from accidentally murdering the drill instructor.
Asset Fixes
● Changed the physical material from metal t' plastic for the blue-grey bins.
● Added a phys mat t' the bathroom sink material.
● Stronghold_Comm/Env: Added local materials t' the package so as t' be able t' apply the appropriate physical material needed.
● BFT_Background - Removed extra baked lighting from the VIP mission from the map texture.
