Only one person has the ability to truly control the raw energies of super-powered heroes: the artist tasked with drawing them. THQ has announced that it will kind of give gamers that level of control with Marvel Super Hero Squad: Comic Combat, which uses the uDraw GameTablet (on PS3, Xbox 360, or Wii) to "direct attacks, wield weapons and build barricades" as Captain America, Iron Man and the series' other licensed protagonists. You can get all artsy when Comic Combat drops November 15.
The Super Hero Squad franchise is also visiting the 3DS -- The Infinity Gauntlet, which was announced for most other platforms last July, will arrive on the stereoscopic handheld October 11. That's a pretty good fit, since the 3DS is pretty much a uDraw GameTablet with two screens on it, if you really think about it. No, don't think about it. It doesn't make any sense.

Even during the Galactus battle, it was hard not to smile while fighting the planet-hungry giant by firing tacos into his mouth from a flying truck. It’s just a shame that Infinity Gauntlet’s gameplay doesn’t [...]
