The son of famed vampire hunter Van Helsing is gearing up to slaughter a fresh bunch of monsters in The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing 2, Nerdcore Games' second entry in a planned trilogy. Properly planning for an action RPG outing takes time though, a resource Van Helsing Jr. now has - Nerdcore has pushed Van Helsing 2's release from April to May 22 for the sake of polish, which conveniently gives our protagonist enough time for a siesta.

Once the adventure continues, players will be able to align with one of three class types; the range and melee-proficient Hunter, the magic-savvy Thaumaturge and the Arcane Mechanic, a deadly-device specialist. The ghostly sidekick Lady Katarina returns to aid players, but aspiring hunters can bring up to three living friends along in a cooperative campaign, or sling attacks in a PvP mode that supports eight competitors total. Viscera Cleanup Detail is now on Steam Early Access, allowing intrepid would-be space janitors the chance to shine (and polish, and scrub, and mop). Being an Early Access game, it has its share of issues and warnings. Developer RuneStorm cautions potential buyers that the game has network troubles and that everything is subject to change, and no feature is safe from the chopping block.

If that doesn't scare you away however, you can buy Viscera Cleanup Detail for $7.99. RuneStorm notes that the price will increase down the road, so if you want to save some money and go for the metaphorical fixer-upper car over the shiny new one, Early Access may be for you.

Third-person sci-fi shooter Scourge: Outbreak is now available on Steam, and is 10 percent off ($7.19) until Wednesday, April 9. Developed by Tragnarion Studios, the game first launched on Xbox Live Arcade in July 2013 after being announced in May 2012.

Crowdfunded PC action-RPG Divinity: Original Sin has entered beta following the release of a "massive" gameplay-expanding update, developer Larian Studios announced today.

Divinity: Original Sin joined Steam's Early Access program in January, offering a preliminary look at its open-world cooperative campaign. Today's update introduces more than 400 new features and gameplay tweaks, including new character talents, skill trees, enemies, and environments.

Divinity: Original Sin is available from Steam for $39.99 during its Early Access period.
