I am threatened with having to move severs again. Unless I can lighten the load. So some stuff has got to go...
I am considering removing these features:
Search - leave only the google search option
Watching a post - does anyone actually use this?
Stats on each posts - remove user stats and item listing
(You would still be able to see all the stats on the user profile page)
That's all I can think of for right now... what do you think? Removing search would probably have the biggest impact. |

everybody probably uses real google.

Those all seem find to remove, most of us use google anyways so I'll be fine with it. |

Keep the stats on each post, I could care less about the other two. Hide items and collectibles if you want, but keep the other stats. |

I've used that feature more times than milliseconds you've been ALIVE.
Google search is virtually useless, and if there's an item with the same name as something you've entered as a search, you get thousands of results. It's pretty much useless, but the regular search is TOO IMPORTANT TO GET RID OF.
The bank's now useless, since it doesn't give interest, so you could remove that. And the arcade hasn't been updated in roughly half a year. =/ |

Search - Many people still use the search, so I'd reccomend removing the google search instead.
Watch - I rarely check my emails, so I never use this. Feel free to delete.
Stats on Posts - Get rid of the items and scores, but leave posts and health/mp/lives.
*looks at the site and sees the edges start to bulge*
You sure are running out of space here. It's a good thing Nerr 2.0 will be an a different site (I hope!). |

I'm fine with removing Google Search (not site search though), and definitely remove Watching a post. You can also remove the Bank, it's useless due to lack of interest. |

I've used site search a very large amount of times, so it shouldn't be removed.
Watching a Post can be removed, I don't use it, nor would I need to.
Stats are useful at times, they don't need to be removed.
The bank is pretty useless now that their is no interest. Maybe just an Item Storage? |

If you remove, the bank, make sure to transfer everything out of it.
although we should still be able to keep items in it. |

Get rid of Google search but not 'normal' search.
I don't watch posts.
Turn bank into item storage
Stats... I would prefer them and the items/collectables to still be there personally.
Well, that's my ideal 'set-up'. Also, a few more ideas for people to flame think about:
Remove cookie system but keep report button (because people don't seem to use them much any more)
Remove the Arcade (who even uses that any more?)
Although I like the chat, maybe just having a link to it instead would save bandwidths? |

I would say remove:
Google Search - Regular search is more effective.
Post Stastics - Only keep HP/MP and relationships, maybe items if you have enough space.
FAQ + Link - No one checks this. At all.
Star Carnival forum - Move it in with Black Market and call it something else.
Watching a post - Hell, kill it.
Forum Jump - Maybe?
Nerrcast - It hasn't been updated in a long time, so kill it unless you decide to update it.
Arcade - Kill it unless people still play the games in it. |

Search - I didn't even know we had one. .-.
Post Watching - Nobody really uses it, so yeah. Just delete it. :/
Stats - Keep Join Date, Relationships, and HP/MP.
The Arcade...maybe. Maybe you should just delete the least played games or something.
Combine Star Carnival & Contests, because the games are kind of like contests, right?
As for the Bank, just call it Storage instead or something.
Oh, and toss out the forum jump. It doesn't take much effort to go back to the Forum Index and click on a forum...
I can't think of anything else. D: |
