Let's face it: digibutter's going downhill, fast. We've got flamers, spammers, drunktards, lazy people, depression, and epic idiocy, and they barely even know it (except some people who do know it). This first paragraph is not meant to be negative or bring anyone down, just to establish my platform.
Now, I suggest that we have much more events. No, I do NOT mean modplots, nor parties, nor randomly throwing items into the wind (thought that would be fun). I'm referring to actual events that could play out. For example, digibutter could put on a horribly-slaughtered version of Survivor, or some other game show for fun and interesting effect. Or possibly some sort of item hunt, or some other kind of event. It's these things that make the participants, hosts, and audience come closer together through random struggles and comedy.
I'm just suggesting that digibutter, overall, become a more active place than the usual goings-on of the day, which are pretty bland and sad in my opinion. |

Yes.
All I can say is yes.
Although, lots of that can be accomplished in the Role-Play board, just from members. Which is a good thing, because it could also revive the RP board a bit. |

I agree, I also want to see the revival of Role-Play. However, I wish to reach those out of role-play, those who just wanna have fun without being in-character and such. An entertaining game of the minds with dozens as players and hundreds as the audience. A spectacle that will revive the site, and leave everyone begging for more at its close.
That's a dream... |

I would love to see someone with a high status do this. It would bring us together more, and pass the time.

You do know this is exactly what I was trying to do with the Divo plot until you all *crag* it up right? |

Yes, which is why we need stricter rules and moderation and force and such. We've no one to blame but ourselves for *crag*ing up a prefectly good site (well, us and Francis, but we can point at him all we'd like and nothing will ever happen except civil unrest). Therefore, it is up to those appointed to administer punishment and rules to contain the general idiocy (or not, depending on their moods) yet still maintain a fun environment.
And also, please, no more parties. I've had enough of those abominations. >.> |

Did I ever say you had to act in-character? No. Did I say there would be games? Yes.
Survivor could be done simply, forming alliances and voting based on the PM system, doing challenges live (such as asking how many questions Wonky answers in PM:TTYD that require you to leave Rogueport to find the thing in question), and other such things.
Lots of other events could work in different ways. Please control your temper. >.> |

Yes, I agree! And we shouldn't let others screw things up either. |

All I want is usergroups, there would be no dead avatar, and item wars. And no "Dead" under the username. Maybe put "The corpse of" Before the name, if they are dead. So we could be happy. And people could actually like the fighting part. |

People don't act in-character in RPOT anyways... |

I support all of these ideas, but I never thought the state of digibutter was that bad. I mean, activity's been picking up recently with new tournaments, and Francis' promise of new features.
That's just me though. |
