GC. The Wiimote can't be beat when it comes to NES games, but with Brawl, GC is the most comfortable for veterans of the SSB series... |

I used the GC controller at first, since it's what I was used to, but now that I've gotten used to the Wiimote + Nunchuck I like it a lot more.
I still haven't tried the Wiimote by itself, though, or the Classic Controller, since I don't own one... |

The GC Controller is the only one who makes worth all my training throughout the series.
Though my bro, who uses the Wii Mote + Nunchuk, has become a far better opponent in Brawl. Maybe the controller choice is making him favors.
Overall, it's widely person-depending. |

The classic controller is absolutely perfect in every reguard. It's much easier to reach any button with (especially the quick smash stick and taunts), and as a vetran of the SNES generation, I adore the feel.

In terms of my play-style the Wiimote+Nunchuck doesn't really match my style.
Since my strategies are so "item throw" heavy, the A+B button combo is weird... plus it doesn't feel nearly as tight.
I dunno--GC controller just made sense and continues to make sense, so why mess with something that works? |

honestly, i guess i've used the GC controller more often primarily because of melee but i would guess it is also a matter of how much practice is put into either of them. |
