To my knowledge, Earthbound has actually been confirmed for the virtual console. Either way, I have the original for the Snes. This is still great news for us Mother fans and my comrades on Starmen.net, however. |

I read somewhere that the ESRB rated EarthBound. Now if I think it means what I think it means, that means that it will be on the VC. |

It is likely, however the game "Shining Forces II" was also ESRB Rated, but never released.
However the given popularity of Earthbound, I think it'll make it... |

It might mean that Reggie Fils-Aime is gonna announce the arrival of an old friend, Ness, and he'll tell everybody about EarthBound Collection for the DS, and that this is a Nintendo of America Project, that it will include EarthBound Zero, EarthBound, AND EarthBound 2, all on one cartridge, and you can use the touch screen for rhythmatic attacks! |

I seriously wish for that.
Earthbound with re-buffedup graphics. And draw the PSI shape for it's effect. |

I'll bet you would. *shoots first*
But, we probably won't know anything until E3. I mean, Tomato and the Mother 3 Fan Translation Project are doing what they can. It's not like Nintendo would intentionally order a cease and decist on them. Or they could ask to use the translation, and save Nintendo of America all the work. |

Sadly, if EarthBound, or the sequel weren't to have sold, we wouldn't have Ness OR Lucas in Brawl. Instead, we'd probably have Krystal and Mewtwo, or something. Because Krystal is one of the sexiest things since Rouge the Bat, and because Mewtwo destroyed Team Rocket's Headquarters in "Mewtwo Strikes Back." |

Maybe Nintendo might listen to the fans, and release a Compilation Disc. It might happen. Yeah, right, and a cow might fall on me. |
