UPDATE: I got my first issues (may & june) in the mail!
BestDealMagazines is offering a year subscription to Nintendo Power for only $3.99! I have ordered from them before, so it is legit.
I used to read Nintendo Power religiously (since the first issue 20 years ago!), front to back, over and over, when I was growing up on NES and SNES. I still remember my jaw dropping upon seeing the first screens of LoZ:aLttP. Then the Internets came and took over the gaming news industry. But, it's still nice to have something to read when sitting on the toilet. Four bucks makes for an entire year of full color Nintendo goodness. Nintendo Power is published by Future now, so hopefully there is less conflict of interest now.
Anyone here currently have a subscription? What do you think of the new Nintendo Power?
Some other Gaming mags (EGM is $5)

I was about to renew the price of my issues and when I saw this, I had to turn down the other offer and had to choose this one. I don't need to pay as much, and can save money, for buying other games that I've wanted. Thank You for finding this! |

I have game informer.
I hate it.
All they talk about is freaking bioshock, and they said francis was the SECOND DORKIEST GAME CHARACTER OF THE YEAR? Please! Anyone in bioshock is a freak to me, dangit!
Anyway, Nintendo power is clearly better.
And cheaper.
Ofcourse they bribed me with a gamestop, and EB games discount card. :3 Ah, 10% off discount. And they scammed me, because it only works on used games. (They didn't tell me that.) |

I should renew my subscription. I guess I stopped it because I realized that I could just see everything on the internet. It's still fun to read pulse while on the toilet.

Its actually a bundle of crap. I've tried their service and never recieved their stuff. Yeah, and if you ask for customer support, no one is there to listen to you. Its stupid, like a 4 year old runs the site. |
